Michał Podleśny will build a woodfired kiln, which will resemble a grotesque figure of a gnome with a metal body hissing and shooting with flames.

This year Wrocław will be the place where masters of glassworking techniques will meet. Ben Wright /USA; Brent Cole /USA; Jiří Pačinek /The Czech Republic; Agâh Barış Can Aksakal /Turkey will be working together to present their techniques of shaping with hot glass.
Message furnace performance by David Lobdell
At the Festival an American artist – David Lobdell will run an exceptional iron pour from the big furnace built in 2007 at the Wrocław Academy. He will be helped by the crew of students and other invited artists.

“Other face of Raku” is an unusual show of unique and spectacular firing of a two-metre ceramic work made together with students from the Department of Ceramics of the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław.
