RYTIS KONSTANTINAVIčIUS (born 1969) comes from Lithuania, graduate of the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass at the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. At present he is an assistant technician at the department of ceramics of the Academy and leads ceramic sculpture classes in the ODT Światowid Culture Centre in Wrocław and he has run his own ceramic studio in Poland since 1996. He stared his adventure with ceramics in art school in Daugai in 1984. He makes ceramic sculpture, paints, builds and fires ceramic kilns, runs ceramic and painting workshops. He is a member of the group of Lithuanian artists in Poland “LDK”, participant of many international exhibitions and symposia. In 2014 he broke the Guiness Record of making the biggest vessel in the world. His ceramic works can be seen in Babimost, Wrocław, Warszawa, Alkmaar (Holland).
