Andreas Fasoulides will conduct a ceramic experiment “Sound Effects on Ceramics and Glass”.
The purpose of it will be to check how sound influences ceramics at the moment of firing. This Cypriot artist will explore the relation between sound and the metamorphosis of form using different ceramic and glass materials at high temperature.
Andreas Fasoulides is an artist with a 30-year long experience in ceramics, glass, metal, wood, stone and paper. He is a member of a Cypriot Ceramicists Association, a founder of Xarxis (www.xarxis.org) and Diatehnon (www.diatehnon.com). Last three years he has spent on reconstructing Cypriot ancient ceramics from the bronze era. In 2018 he will lead Silent Artouch Projekt 2018 within the Erasmus program.
