A spectacular iron pour from a tilting furnace built at the Wrocław Academy three years ago. It is probably the first furnace of this kind in Europe used for artistic purposes. Cast iron will be poured into the moulds made by artists and sculpture students during the workshop preceding the Festival.
Michał Staszczak (born 1979) – assistant professor in the Casting Studio at the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. The head of the Department of Sculptural Techniques (2016-2020). The director of the Festival of High Temperatures. He organises mouldmaking workshops and metal pours. He builds furnaces.
